60 Southend - Temple Farm - Rochford - Stambridge - Canewdon - Paglesham

Better Queensway work starts 31/10/2025 until at least January 2027. Expect delays in the Southend area during this time. Some services may be curtailed short of their usual terminals to maintain service reliability.

Better Queensway work starts 31/10/2025 until at least January 2027. As part of this, the Queensway Underpass will be PERMANENTLY CLOSED after 08/12/2025, with the northern slip roads closed (except for access from Short Street) until at least January 2027. Work on the Porters Grange Roundabout (above Queensway) will also start around this time. Expect delays on all of these routes.

Between Temple Farm and the Anne Boleyn pub, a hail & ride service is in operation. Buses will stop in any safe place where requested. Note that the fixed stop at Purdeys Way is on the River Roach Bridge.
