827 CSSE Canvey, Leigh Beck - Westcliff Schools and SHSB

Buses on route 827 only operate term-time, Monday-Friday only. During school holidays, this service does not operate.

Buses on both routes depart SHSB at 15:40 and 16:10, arriving 10 minutes later at Westcliff High Schools. The later bus provides a guaranteed connection from the 826, and will not depart until all connecting passengers have boarded.

Service 827 will now operate via Hart Road, Daws Heath, and Highlands Boulevard, replacing service 822 (now renumbered to 21S). Passengers travelling from stops on Kiln Road and London Road (up to Thames Drive) should use service 21S. Those travelling from Canvey Road stop should use service 826.

Better Queensway work starts 31/10/2025 until at least January 2027. Expect delays in the Southend area during this time. Some services may be curtailed short of their usual terminals to maintain service reliability.

Better Queensway work starts 31/10/2025 until at least January 2027. Access to the Porters Grange Roundabout (above Queensway) is likely to be restricted at this time, with road delays certain. Most of these routes have no suitable diversion route and will likely need to remain on Victoria Avenue, with delays of upwards of 30-60 minutes possible during peak hours.
