Operator Updates for Clydeway
Update: Starting tomorrow, our new 34B service will begin, running between Hamilton Town Centre, Peacock Cross, Fairhill and Eddlewood before terminating at Cornhill Village! 2 services will run each way per day to begin, this may be upgraded to be more frequent in the near future. Travel time is roughly 20 minutes each way, leaving Hamilton Bus Station at 07:50 and 15:45, and at Cornhill Village at 07:15 and 08:15. Perfect for travelling to school, work or meeting a friend.
Update: From Wednesday 17 June 2026, Clydeway will be taking over route 299 from Stuart’s Coaches. This service will be ran to the same timetable as usual. We hope to welcome you onboard shortly!
Update: Due to drainage works on M74 Junction 6 slip road to Motherwell between 22/4/26 @ 20:00 until 23/4/26 @ 06:00, services will be diverted via M74 Junction 6 slip road to Hamilton, 4th exit at roundabout and continuing normal route along Motherwell Road. Sorry for any inconvenience
Update: We are currently experiencing GPS issues with both of our series of Enviro400EV buses meaning that certain services in the city centre and beyond will not be tracking. These routes are still running and tracking is expected to return by tomorrow. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Update: From Thursday 9 April 2026, service X6 will be served partly by Clydeway and West Bus. Fares will be kept consistent across both operators. No timetable changes are being made.
Update: Diversion: Due to a sink hole on Cathedral Street, services are being diverted via North Hanover Street, Dobbie’s Loan, Kennedy Street, St Mungo Ave, St James Road and then continuing the normal route via Stirling Road/St James Road depending on the route.
Update: Big changes from April! New buses are arriving for routes 26, 70 and 71 with more capacity and dual doors to help speed up boarding times at busy stops. A new ticketing system will be implemented, meaning you can travel for cheaper. Scanning your ticket is a thing of the past! Just get on and take a seat. Undercover inspectors will be in operation, ensuring all tickets have been purchased and valid.
Update: Service changes: From Tue 24 Mar, service 10 is seeing a timetable change Monday-Friday. The first departure is at 09:30 and the last departure is at 15:50, running every 20 minutes. Weekend service is unaffected.
Update: Diversion: Road closure of High Blantyre Road from 16th March - 20th March. Service 40: Buses will divert via Udston Road, Farm Road, Hillhouse Road and then continue usual route onto A725. Service U1: Buses will divert via Udston Road, Farm Road and Hillhouse Road, continuing the usual service. Service 36: Buses will divert via Udston Road, Farm Road, Hillhouse Road and Douglas Street before continuing usual route onto Hunthill Road. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Update: Our Clyde Valley Explorer route has returned! Starting from March 21st and running until the end of August, the route travels between Chatelherault Country Park and Glespin via the scenic Clyde Valley and towns along the way. With many spots to disembark for a picture, it's great for all ages! Come join us next Saturday on our open top bus and have a blast!

Update: Extra services running on routes 50 and 52 due to a fire on Union Street, Glasgow. Rail tickets are accepted on all routes serving Glasgow city centre.
Update: ALL GLASGOW CITY CENTRE ROUTES AFFECTED: Due to a large scale fire on Union Street at Central Station, services are on diversion and majorly delayed. We are accepting rail tickets on ALL services which run to/through Glasgow City Centre. Sorry for any inconvenience

Update: Exciting news for Dumbarton and the surrounding areas! From the 9th February, we will be starting 3 new routes between Dumbarton, Balloch and Helensburgh. We will also be extending our 90 service to Dumbarton town centre with a new timetable running every 15 minutes direct from Glasgow City Centre!
Update: Due to a breakdown on the 246, the 11:25 service to Cumbernauld will be delayed by roughly 5 minutes while we send a new bus out to cover.
Update: Due to a road closure on the M74 heading towards Hamilton, our X1 service will divert via The Raith and Bothwell Road.
