Operator Updates for First Lanarkshire & Clyde Valley
Update: SERVICE ALTERATIONS ⚠️ From Monday 27th April, Nightbus service N31 will be withdrawn. Passengers wishing to travel on this route should instead use First Bus service N75. Ticket acceptance is in place for customers who have purchased weekly/monthly/yearly tickets that use this route.
Update: Service Enhancements ‼️ From Monday 27th April 2026 as part of our 24/7 route rollout, Service 10 will be joining Service 11 as an overnight route.
Update: SERVICE ALTERATIONS ⛔️⛔️⛔️ Due to a major fire outbreak at Glasgow Central station, all services around Union Street are being diverted via Saltmarket. Services terminating in the city centre from the south are temporarily terminating at Bridge Street subway station. Expect huge delays and possible cancellations. Ticket acceptance is in place with local taxi services, First Bus and McGills.
Update: FESTIVE PERIOD SERVICE ALTERATIONS ⚠️ Please note that on Christmas Eve, 24th December, services will be limited and reduced throughout the network. On Christmas Day, 25th December, there will only be four routes in operation. This being the 10, 11, 44, 44A. All routes will operate at a severely reduced frequency. (1 bus each way every 3 hours) On Boxing Day, 26th December, services will be limited and reduced throughout the network. On New Years Eve, December 31st, services will be limited and reduced throughout the network. On New Years Day, January 1st, services will be limited and reduced throughout the network. Please plan ahead with caution. Thank you.
Update: SERVICE ALTERATIONS ⚠️ As of Tuesday 18th November, service X78 will be reduced from 4 buses per hour to 1 bus per hour due to lower passenger numbers than expected.
Update: SERVICE ALTERATIONS ⚠️ From Tuesday 18th November, service X50 will be withdrawn as a result of low passenger numbers. It was a difficult decision to pull the route however with low usage and with the business in mind we had no option but to do so. However, Barrhead has recently received brand new buses which have already hit the roads and are in service now. We thank you for understanding.
Update: Travelling to Hampden Park on Tuesday? 👇 You’ll be glad to hear that we are running extra buses on services around Battlefield/Hampden/Mount Florida to cope with extra passengers. We are also running shuttles from East Kilbride, Newton Mearns, Barrhead, George Square and Clydebank to Hampden Park for fans travelling to the game.
Update: SCOTLAND VS DENMARK ⚽️ Due to Scotland playing Denmark in a crucial World Cup Qualifier match on Tuesday evening, services around the Hampden Park/Battlefield/Mount Florida area are expected to be busy then. Please take delays and traffic congestion into account when travelling.
Update: WEATHER WARNING ⚠️ Due to Storm Amy, services on Saturday 4th October may be liable to short notice cancellations or delays. 95mph winds are set to hit the UK this coming weekend, so please plan ahead and travel with caution.
