How to use mass log trips

Fleet

Mass Logging Trips Guide

Step 1: Navigate to the Fleet Page

  1. Go to the fleet page for the operator you’d like to mass log trips for.
  2. Click the Mass Log Trips button (next to Mass Edit).

Step 2: Choose a Logging Method

On the Mass Log Trips page, you have three options:

  • Mass Log
  • Running Board Log
  • Duty Log

Note: Running Board Log and Duty Log function the same — the only difference is whether you’re working with running boards or duties.

Option 1: RB / Duty Log

This is the simplest option if you already have a running board or duty set up.

  1. Select the vehicle the trips will be logged on.
  2. Select the running board or duty to log.
  3. Choose the date the trips should be logged.

Option 2: Mass Log

Mass Log allows more flexible trip creation but is slightly more complex.

  1. Select the vehicle the trips will be logged on.
  2. Select the route.
  3. Choose the start at location.

  4. Example: The 63 runs from Cannock → Uttoxeter.

  5. If you want to log a trip from Uttoxeter → Cannock, set the start at Uttoxeter.
  6. Set the start time (the time the first trip will begin).
  7. Select how many trips to log.

  8. Example: Enter 6 to log 6 trips.

  9. Set the trip duration (in minutes).

  10. Example: If the trip takes 45 minutes, enter 45.

  11. (Optional) Set a break between trips.

  12. This is how long the system will wait before starting the next trip.
