Update: ⚡ We’re Going Electric We’re proud to announce that our bus network is going electric. Over the coming years, we’ll be introducing a new fleet of zero-emission electric buses, replacing diesel and gas vehicles across our routes. This is a major step towards cleaner air, quieter streets, and a more sustainable future for the communities we serve. What does this mean for you? • 🌱 Zero tailpipe emissions • 🔇 Quieter, smoother journeys • 🌍 Lower carbon footprint • 🚌 The same routes and timetables you rely on Our new electric buses will be deployed on both local and longer-distance services, with vehicles chosen carefully to match passenger demand — including high-capacity double-deck electric buses on our busiest routes. All buses will be charged overnight at our depots, allowing them to run all day without disruption. This is just the beginning The move to electric is part of our long-term commitment to modernise our fleet and invest in the future of public transport. As the rollout continues, more routes will switch to electric, bringing the benefits to even more passengers. Thank you for travelling with us — and for being part of a cleaner, quieter journey ahead.
