Service Incident & Recovery Statement - 17/12/25
On Thursday night, our primary EU1 infrastructure experienced a critical failure that resulted in a full service outage.
At the time, we were already in the process of implementing high-availability (HA) failover with EU2. Due to the severity of the EU1 failure, we promoted EU2 to operate as EU1 in order to restore service.
During this promotion, and while the new environment was still being brought fully online, EU2 also suffered a failure. As a result, any data created or modified between Friday and Sunday is permanently unrecoverable.
Current status:
EU1 (formerly EU2) is fully operational and running normally
EU2 has been rebuilt and is close to full readiness
Services are online, but some instability may occur while final stabilisation work completes
We are continuing to monitor the platform and are putting additional safeguards in place to improve redundancy, backups, and failover reliability going forward.

The website is now fully operational again following earlier issues.
Access via https://www.mybustimes.cc
has been restored and services are running normally.

Service Notice - 17/12/25
We’re currently experiencing an issue with www.mybustimes.cc, so the main site is temporarily unavailable.
As a workaround, visitors are being automatically redirected to
https://eu1-origin.mybustimes.cc/
All data will continue to sync as normal.
During this time, live tracking will not update.
This is a temporary fix while we work on restoring the normal www service.

Vehicle Direction Tracking Fully Fixed - 09/12/25
The issue that caused some vehicles to track in the wrong direction has now been fully resolved.
If any of your vehicles are still showing the wrong direction, this means it’s a data issue. You’ll need to flip the inbound/outbound status on the affected trips.
To make this easier, I’ve added new tools to instantly flip trip directions for both vehicles and duties.

Vehicles
- Go to the vehicle’s main page.
- Click Edit on any trip.
- At the top, click Flip All Trip Directions.
Duties
- Go to the duty page.
- Click Edit.
- Then click Edit Trips.
At the top, click Flip All Trip Directions.
Important
You will need to re-log the trips for the duty / running board for the changes to take effect. -
Link your discord account - 03/12/25
You can now linked your discord account via user username in settings. You can now link your Discord account to your MBT profile by adding your Discord username in your Settings.
This allows posts made through Discord integrations to be recognized and properly attributed to your MBT account.
What this does:
When viewing a thread, if a post’s author matches your Discord username, it will display as:
your_forum_username | your_discord_username (Discord)
This helps clearly identify Discord-originated posts and connects them with your main forum profile.
Your profile picture and other linked account info will appear alongside these posts if available.
