Am I allowed to POST trips the same way ticketer does in my own code for my own routes? I know how to do this but I won’t do it of not allowed.

when ticketer is ready yes thats fine there will be some docs setup on how to auth properaly

Yes there will be full docs with everything and the end points as well

Exiting - you will have to make sure no one can just add trips to other peoples routes

yes that why you have to auto with user ID and the code then it will only allow you to add trips to vehicle you own

Last question - When ticketer/map is ready and I post a trip with the lat & lon it should appear on the map but will it only appear on the map for 15 minutes unless I update the location for that trip? (Like bustimes.org)

Yeah it will auto end trip after 15 mins

Tracking is only available via ticketer or the API so if your the only one bus per ticketer session
