Routes being shared between operators

Back to threads

This means 2 operators could run the same 1 route (could be shared between group members?)

I have a feeling it would go well in route options something like linkable routes but for the companies it would be shared with
Call me crazy if you want 🤣

I have a small idea:
Make it so that the route must be shared between your own company and either another of your own companies or a helper company. The 2 companies could both log vehicles/trips onto the route, but maybe only the original company who made the route is able to edit it?
Or both companies are able to edit and add their own timetable and then that gets added alongside each others timetable and at the top it would show which operator operates at which times like how bustimes works (example pic below, ofc it's only 1 company but it will work the same)

Idk if that's what was already planned but that's just my idea

So im guessing like it would be that the first and second journeys are operated by the first company, then the third and fourth by the second, then the fifth by the first again
